It’s imperative that you capitalize on your chances if you want to have a winning record in business. I’ve noticed three kinds of chances you can look for.
It’s the hockey playoff season here in Canada. I watched the Montreal Canadians blow a 3 score lead to the Boston Bruins in the final 5 minutes of play, and I’m reminded of the three kinds of chances we get in hockey and life.
There are the ones we create for ourselves by following our game plan and playing hard.
There are the ones that your competitor gives you when they make a mistake or aren’t playing hard.
And then there’s the bounce of the puck!
I’ve noticed that more often than not the puck bounces my way when I’m focused on my game plan and playing hard!
